Our standard

Community Guidelines

The standards that protect authentic, consensual and respectful connections between healthcare professionals and trainees.

Our standard

Caduo is an adults-only dating community for healthcare professionals and people training for healthcare careers. Every member is entitled to participate without being deceived, pressured, harassed or exposed to professional or personal harm. These Guidelines apply to profiles, photos, prompts, messages, calls, reports, dates arranged through Caduo and conduct connected with another Caduo member.

1. Be authentic

  • Use your real identity, age and recent photos. Do not impersonate a person or organisation.
  • Describe your healthcare role, training, registration, qualifications, workplace and relationship intentions accurately.
  • Do not create duplicate, shared, commercial or automated accounts, or evade a suspension.
  • Do not use undisclosed AI-generated faces, voices or messages to mislead people. Bots, fake members and fabricated engagement are prohibited.
  • A verification badge must not be presented as a clinical credential, employment reference, endorsement or guarantee of conduct.

2. Consent is continuous

  • Respect a person’s boundaries, choices and right to stop communicating at any time.
  • Never pressure, threaten, blackmail or manipulate someone into conversation, a date, sexual activity, sharing images, using substances or providing money.
  • Sexual comments or images must be welcome. Never send explicit content without clear consent.
  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time. Intoxication, incapacity, fear, deception or an abuse of authority may make consent impossible.
  • Do not contact someone through another account, workplace, social platform or colleague after they block, unmatch or ask you to stop.

3. Protect professional boundaries and patients

  • Never share patient names, images, records, case details or other information that could identify a patient.
  • Do not photograph or create content in restricted clinical areas or expose screens, charts, badges, rosters or workplace security information.
  • Do not access clinical, registration or workplace systems for dating purposes.
  • Do not use a supervisory, assessment, employment or clinical relationship to pressure or disadvantage another person.
  • Follow professional codes, workplace policies and confidentiality obligations. Caduo is not a channel for clinical advice, referrals or patient recruitment.

4. Treat people with dignity

Harassment, stalking, bullying, threats, humiliation and intimidation are prohibited. So are hateful or degrading statements or conduct targeting race, colour, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, health status or another protected or personal attribute.

Preferences may be expressed respectfully. They do not permit abuse, fetishisation, dehumanisation or exclusionary attacks.

5. Keep Caduo safe from exploitation

Do not:

  • request money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, banking details or financial assistance;
  • promote investments, gambling, multi-level marketing or deceptive opportunities;
  • engage in sextortion, romance scams, identity theft, trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation;
  • advertise, recruit, sell products or conduct research without Caduo’s written approval and valid participant consent;
  • collect, scrape, publish or sell member information;
  • reveal another person’s address, contact details, identity documents, intimate content or private communications without permission; or
  • coordinate violence, terrorism, criminal activity or evasion of law enforcement.

6. Adults only; zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation

Caduo is only for people aged 18 and older. Any sexualisation, grooming or exploitation of a minor, or child sexual exploitation material, is prohibited. We may preserve and report relevant material to law enforcement or designated child-safety authorities.

7. Content rules

Profile and message content must not contain:

  • non-consensual intimate imagery or threats to share it;
  • graphic violence, sexual violence or instructions for serious harm;
  • illegal goods, controlled-drug sales or weapons trafficking;
  • malware, phishing, spam or attempts to compromise accounts;
  • another person’s intellectual property or confidential information without permission; or
  • content intended to defeat safety, verification, subscription or moderation systems.

8. Meeting safely

Use your judgment when moving off-platform or meeting. Keep early conversations in Caduo, tell someone you trust about a first meeting, meet in a public place, arrange your own transport, protect financial and identity information, and leave if you feel unsafe. In an emergency call 000. Caduo’s safety tools support decision-making but do not monitor or supervise dates.

9. Report and block

Use the in-app report and block controls when behaviour causes concern. Reports should be honest and include relevant context. Do not weaponise reports to punish rejection or pursue a personal dispute.

Blocking prevents further in-app contact and removes an active match. Reporting sends information to authorised moderators. Urgent danger should be reported to emergency services first. Image-based abuse and serious online harm may also be reported to Australia’s eSafety Commissioner at esafety.gov.au/report.

10. Enforcement

Caduo assesses severity, context, evidence, risk, history and applicable law. Outcomes may include education, a warning, content removal, reduced visibility, feature restriction, loss of verification, suspension, termination, prevention of re-registration, evidence preservation or referral to an appropriate authority.

Serious conduct may result in immediate action. Repeated lower-severity conduct may lead to stronger action. Members may use the in-app appeal process where it is available. More detail appears in the Safety and Moderation Policy.
