The agreement

Terms of Service

The rules governing the Caduo app, website, member accounts, subscriptions, safety, content, and acceptable use.

Last updated 27 August 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Caduo mobile application, website and related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Caduo ("Caduo", "we", "us" or "our") from New South Wales, Australia.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and Safety and Moderation Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

Contact admin@psychtrack.com.au for account, service and safety enquiries. Use the subject “Caduo safety report” for safety matters.

2. Eligibility

You may use Caduo only if:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you have legal capacity to enter a binding agreement;
  • you are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law;
  • you have not been convicted of, or are not subject to an order concerning, conduct that would make your participation incompatible with member safety, unless Caduo has expressly approved access after assessment;
  • Caduo has not previously terminated your account for serious or repeated misconduct, unless we have authorised your return; and
  • the account is for you personally and not for another person, organisation, research project or automated system.

Caduo is designed for healthcare professionals and people training for healthcare careers. You must describe your role, qualifications, registration status, specialty and workplace accurately. A professional-verification badge confirms only the checks described in the verification process at the time of review; it is not a clinical credential, employment reference or endorsement.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated. You must use your own recent photos, maintain only one personal account unless Caduo approves otherwise, keep credentials secure and promptly notify us at admin@psychtrack.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from a failure by Caduo to use reasonable security measures. You must not sell, transfer, share or lend your account, use another person’s account, evade a restriction, or create an account using false identity or professional information.

Sign in with Apple and other third-party account services are also governed by the provider’s terms.

4. The Service

Caduo provides profile creation, discovery recommendations, likes, matching, messaging, professional verification, safety tools, date planning and paid features. We may add, change or retire features where reasonably necessary to improve the Service, address safety or security risks, comply with law or respond to technical and commercial requirements.

We will give reasonable notice if a material change substantially reduces a paid feature during an active subscription, unless an urgent change is required for security, safety, legal compliance or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Caduo does not arrange, supervise or participate in dates. Members decide independently whether, when and where to communicate or meet. You are responsible for using available safety tools, exercising judgment and complying with professional, workplace and confidentiality obligations.

5. Recommendations, verification and member information

Discovery results are recommendations, not guarantees of identity, compatibility, intentions, conduct, availability, location or professional standing. Filters and approximate distance depend on information supplied by members and devices.

Caduo may verify selected identity and professional details against submitted evidence and authoritative registers. Verification is point-in-time and may be reviewed, removed or repeated. Members must tell us if information supporting a badge becomes inaccurate, suspended, restricted or expired.

You must not treat any profile, badge, message or Caduo feature as medical, professional, employment, legal or personal-safety advice.

6. Member content

“Member Content” means information you submit, upload, send or make available through the Service, including profiles, photos, videos, voice notes, prompts, messages, reports and appeals.

You retain ownership of your Member Content. You grant Caduo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, display, communicate and process Member Content solely to operate, secure, moderate, improve and promote the Service as permitted by your settings and these Terms. The licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for copies retained in backups, safety records, legal holds or evidence as permitted by the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit Member Content and that it does not infringe another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, publicity or other rights.

You must never upload patient information, clinical records, images taken in restricted clinical environments, exposed patient details, confidential workplace material or another person’s identity document. Professional confidentiality obligations continue to apply in dating conversations.

Caduo may remove, restrict or preserve Member Content in accordance with the Community Guidelines, Safety and Moderation Policy and applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You must follow the Community Guidelines. You must not:

  • threaten, stalk, harass, coerce, shame, exploit or abuse another person;
  • engage in sexual violence, image-based abuse, non-consensual sexual content or repeated unwanted sexual conduct;
  • discriminate against or attack people based on protected or personal attributes;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent identity, age, relationship status, professional role, registration or intentions;
  • solicit money, run scams, recruit for investment schemes, facilitate commercial sex, traffic people or exploit vulnerability;
  • publish private contact information, identity documents, workplace rosters or other personal information without permission;
  • upload child sexual exploitation material, terrorist material, violent extremist material or any illegal or restricted content;
  • use bots, scripts, scraping, reverse engineering, automated account creation or unauthorised data collection;
  • interfere with security, App Check, rate limits, access controls, moderation or subscription checks;
  • advertise, recruit, conduct research or use member information for employment, clinical, insurance, credentialing or commercial decisions without Caduo’s written approval and valid member consent;
  • use the Service to access patient systems, solicit clinical information or create a conflict with professional duties; or
  • encourage, assist or attempt any prohibited conduct.

8. Safety reports, moderation and appeals

You may report or block a member through the Service. Reports must be made honestly and must not be used to retaliate, intimidate or knowingly submit false allegations.

Caduo may use automated signals and human review to investigate content and conduct. We may request information, preserve evidence, remove content, limit features, revoke verification, issue a warning, suspend or terminate an account, prevent re-registration, or refer a matter to a regulator, professional body, emergency service or law-enforcement agency where appropriate.

We consider context, severity, credibility, member history, risk of harm and applicable law. We may act without advance notice where reasonably necessary to protect a person, preserve an investigation, prevent evasion or comply with law. To protect privacy and safety, we may not disclose the identity of a reporter, confidential evidence or detailed enforcement methods.

A suspended member may submit an appeal through the app. Appeals are reviewed by an authorised moderator who was not the sole original decision-maker where reasonably practicable. The appeal outcome is final within Caduo’s internal process, without limiting any right to contact a regulator or exercise rights under law.

9. Caduo+ and one-time purchases

Caduo+ is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple’s App Store. The App Store displays the price, billing period, trial terms and renewal terms before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews under Apple’s displayed terms.

You can manage or cancel the subscription in Apple ID subscription settings and restore eligible purchases in Caduo. Deleting your Caduo account or app does not itself cancel an Apple subscription. Cancellation stops future renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period unless Apple states otherwise.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are administered by Apple, subject to rights available under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees, remedies or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Premium features require a valid server-verified entitlement and may take a short time to synchronise after purchase or restoration. You must not manipulate purchase records, receipts or account-linked transaction tokens.

Caduo may also offer consumable one-time purchases, including priority introductions and time-limited Spotlights. Apple displays the price and quantity before purchase. A consumable is credited once after Caduo verifies the App Store transaction, is linked only to the purchasing Caduo account, has no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts and is consumed when the corresponding feature is used. A Spotlight changes discovery ranking for its stated period but does not guarantee views, likes, matches or messages. A priority introduction does not guarantee a match or response.

Unused consumable credits remain available while the purchasing account remains active, subject to refund, revocation, fraud prevention, legal requirements and service closure. Deleting the account permanently removes unused credits once deletion is completed. Apple administers purchase and refund requests without limiting non-excludable consumer rights.

10. Intellectual property

Caduo and its licensors own the Service, software, designs, trade marks, branding, databases, documentation and content supplied by Caduo, excluding Member Content. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for lawful personal dating purposes while your account remains active.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, sell, sublicense, decompile, reverse engineer or create derivative services from Caduo except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by law.

If you send product feedback, you permit Caduo to use it without restriction or payment, without identifying you publicly unless you consent.

11. Third-party services and links

The Service relies on Apple, Firebase, mapping, telecommunications and other third-party infrastructure. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Caduo is responsible for selecting and managing its processors as required by applicable law but does not control independent third-party websites or services you choose to access.

12. Account closure

You may delete your account through the app. Deletion is subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy and Data Retention Schedule.

Caduo may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach of these Terms or policies; fraud; unlawful conduct; safety risk; prolonged account inactivity; a request from a competent authority; or discontinuation of the Service. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to respond or appeal. Immediate action may be taken where delay could expose a person or Caduo to harm, illegality, fraud or security risk.

Sections concerning ownership, Member Content already used as authorised, safety records, subscriptions, disputes, liability and rights that by nature continue will survive closure.

13. Service availability and responsibility

We provide the Service with due care and skill and work to keep it secure and available. Outages, delays or errors may occur because of maintenance, telecommunications failures, provider incidents, emergencies or events outside reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to restore affected functions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caduo is not responsible for loss caused solely by another member’s independent conduct, information you voluntarily disclose outside the Service, or your failure to follow clear safety instructions, except to the extent the loss was caused or contributed to by Caduo’s breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.

Where the Australian Consumer Law permits Caduo to limit a remedy for a failure to comply with a guarantee relating to services, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or paying the reasonable cost of having them supplied again. This limitation does not apply where it would be unfair, unreasonable or unlawful, or to liability that cannot be limited.

14. Complaints and disputes

Contact admin@psychtrack.com.au with the account email, relevant facts and outcome sought. Use the subject “Caduo safety report” for safety matters and “Caduo privacy request” for privacy matters. We will acknowledge and assess complaints and aim to provide a substantive response within 30 days.

Before starting court proceedings, you and Caduo agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through written negotiation for at least 30 days, except where urgent relief is needed or this requirement would unlawfully restrict a consumer right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. You and Caduo submit to courts with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in this section removes a right to bring a claim in a tribunal or court available under consumer law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for legal, security, safety, technical or service reasons. We will provide reasonable advance notice of a material change through the Service, email or both. A change takes effect on the stated date. If you do not accept a material change, you may stop using and delete your account before it takes effect. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights or remedies.

16. General

If a provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be read down to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. Caduo may assign them as part of a genuine corporate transaction if the assignment does not materially reduce your rights.

These Terms and the policies incorporated into them form the agreement concerning the Service, together with any specific terms shown for a feature or purchase.
